Liberty Quays Voltage Optimisation
We are just like everyone else and are feeling the cost of those higher energy bills. After a successful trial at our Frobisher House store we have installed one at Liberty Quays. This will reduce our total power use by up to 15%. A big saving! We are saving energy everywhere possible, we don’t waste power!
Liberty Quays New Higher Shelves = Lots more products!
I know we have only just finished re-building the store, but we knew we could do a better job and have invested in new higher shelves. We think they look great! So what does that mean for our customers? A much, much bigger range! Yes, come and have a look as there is not a lot we don’t now sell. You may be surprised at what we can offer.
iPad mini winner.
The competition to win a iPad mini has now closed. Many thanks to Rob from the Liberty Quays Student Halls who completed the prize draw. We can announce that the winner of the first prize was a very happy Emma Newton (which was collected by her partner). Enjoy Emma! Our four runner-up’s were also delighted with their £50 shopping vouchers.
Cake Sale donation.
As part of our increased involvement in the local community, our recent donation of cakes to St John’s Primary and Nursery School helped contribute towards raising more than £200 for the school.
Liberty Quays reopens!
After nearly 6 months of being closed, Liberty Quays has finally reopened at a cost of well over £250K. The store has been completely refitted from top to bottom. In keeping with the company’s ethos, we have used the very latest energy saving technologies. We now have more than 23 meters of chilled foods, 7 metres worth of frozen and 7.5 meters dedicated to chilled alcohol. We have also massively increased our standard grocery ranges, meaning this 3,000sq ft store really is a mini supermarket. This new store with more refrigeration and freezer space than before is saving more than 20% on its electricity consumption.
