Parkview Retail Ltd has decided to give a little bit of help to an important cause, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. As you may be aware, the Air Ambulance receives no Government or National Lottery funding and is entirely run by public donations. Working every day of the year, the Air Ambulance crew provide a life saving service to anyone in need. Operating costs currently stand at £125,000 each month.
We found out that 70 volunteers are going to be provided to help with this years Boomtown Fair in Winchester during August. They will be assisting for 10 days in the run up to and during the festival. Any wages that each of these volunteers would earn is going directly back to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. This is an amazing way to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. In order to support these volunteers a welfare tent is provided throughout the fair. We have supplied the following items to help keep this welfare tent running:
Water 50cl 20 cases of 24 = 480 bottles
Sugar 1 case = 15 kg
Shortbread fingers 1 case = 12 packs
Digestive biscuits 1 case = 15 packs
Bourbon Creams 1 case = 15 packs
Custard Creams 1 case = 20 packs
Nice Biscuits 1 case = 18 packs
Typhoo Tea Bags 440 = 880 Tea bags
Hopefully this should go a long way to thanking the 70 volunteers who’s time and energy will help keep the Air Ambulance flying!
